Backroad Pizza - Santa Fe, 2nd Street (Santa Fe)
We saw this place on Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives (Guy Fieri, Food-Network). This is the absolute, hands-down BEST pizza we ever had. That crispy-edge crust alone is worth the price of admission - then add to that those great toppings and this place is a winner! Makes the trip to Santa Fe from North Texas worth the drive.

Burger Box (Indio)
The french fried taters are the bomb!! Best date shake around, I think. Reasonably priced, great tasting simple menu. And it is all cooked to order, not waiting under a heat lamp.

The Port Hole Restaurant (Slidell)
My husband & I arrived in Sidell around 9:30pm after traveling 800 miles. We were famished. Asked at hotel for a good restaurant and we were given directions to the The Port Hole. Going inside, it was after 10pm, the owner met us at the door. We asked if we could still get dinner and how long he was open. He replied until everyone is gone. Try finding that in Seattle. The food, the ambiance, the service was absolutely fantastic. We dined with fine linens with the food presentation and taste to match. If ever we find ourselves traveling across the bottom of the USA again you can be sure this is the place we plan to visit. We dined in many local fares in the 45 days none to match the Port Hole.

Williams Inn (Chicago)
It's about time - much has been taken from the Afro-American community . .. now, with Domino's pizza, Gino and the likes; Williams Inn Pizza has taken a bit from them all and Afro-tizes the Pizza Pie with its juicy meat and cheeze blends. This is not at all a weight watchers pizza. It's for that person who wants a hearty pizza meal that all-night filling and lasting. You must try it. It had been over twenty-years since I last ate a Wiliams Inn Pizza because it was attached to a lounge . . . and I had left that scene twenty-years ago. Now I can get all back to that old-good tasting pizza once again. Go! Williams Inn Pizza.

Rialto (Greensburg)
The food was delicious! I had the meat ravioli and loved it. My husband had chicken parmagiana and the chicken was so tender, it could be cut with the fork. He also said that the meatball was the best he has ever tasted! The prices were very reasonable, the service was efficient, and the staff was pleasant and attentive. I will eat there any time I am in Greensburg to see a show at the Palace Theatre which is on the next block.

If you are at Carolyn's order the roast beef sanwich. I have been there two times and it was great both times. And the chicken fried chicken was also great.

Camillis Pizza (West Palm Beach)
If you have been searching for a REAL thin crust pizza, Camilli's is the place. I could not find anything in WPB or NC that had the thin crust I craved from growing up by Peoria, IL and eating the wonderful pizza at the now defunct Davis Brothers in East Peoria. A WPB Hilton bartender told me the only place around for real thin crust was Camilli's and we were absolutely in 7th heaven. This is an older place that has been around for years, is a small mom and pop place. I will be visiting there every time we are in West Palm from now on. DON'T CHANGE A THING!!!
