Clare & Don's Beach Shack (Falls Church)

This place is awesome! It has a beach feel and the crab cakes tasted great. They have a nice patio seating and I can't wait to go back to have a good margarita on the patio served by the friendly, cute staff.

A-1 Pizza & Subs (Arbutus)

The subs are excellent and big but I haven't tried their pizza. They give huge fry portions and one or two sub specials are a good deal. Their service is friendly and fast as well.

Hooters - Cobb Parkway, Atlanta (Atlanta)

I have eaten at Hooters on Cobb Parkway before, actually more than once and the food, service, and environment is great! I will definitely be going back soon to grab a bite to eat for lunch or dinner and hopefully one day become part of the Hooters staff!

Cafe Pesto (Hilo)

While passing through Hilo we came across this great restaurant, which is attached to a ‘mall’ of sorts. You could check out the art store across the hall, they have reasonably priced art.

We had the wonderful brick oven pizza and the mushrooms were delicious. I’m usually picky on pizzas. My hubby ordered a beer and the waitress said that they were out of the brand. He chose another but when the drinks arrived, his first choice was presented by the server. Our waitress said that they were in the process of receiving a new shipment, and knew that he wanted the beer that they were out of. She waited for the truck to be unloaded, and then she snagged his first choice of beer! That's service! She could have easily had the bartender pour his second choice, and we'd never know - very thoughtful. She was well compensated for her efforts.

Wilkes Barbeque (Hampton)

Their barbeque is great! My husband absolutely loved it. I'm not a huge barbeque person but I really enjoyed it and this is great place for the whole family. Even my picky six year old liked it.

Ameci Pizza Pasta - Santa Paula (Santa Paula)

We love this place and it reminds us of pizza from the East Coast - it's delicious. Their specials are always good.

Takis Carryout Restaurant (Baltimore)

I recently ate at Takis Carryout in Baltimore, Maryland and the food was magnificent. The waiter and waitress were doing a magnificent job and when people gave tips, she refuses to take it as she is kind. The pepper steak with rice was magnificent. The food is inexpensive so I don’t spend a lot of money.

Taco Hut (Joplin)

I am from Tulsa, OK and Taco Hut at one point had outlets there. I recently ate at the Joplin restaurant and was quite pleased that the food tastes exactly as I remembered them. For a fast food restaurant the food was fresh and well prepared. The salsa is prepared daily. All items are reasonably priced with generous portions. I have since referred Taco Hut to others travelling through and all have had favourable dining experiences. Taco Hut, please come back to Tulsa!

Dikadee's Deli Dilworth (Charlotte)

This restaurant was disappointing. Although the outside seating looks inviting, on the day we visited we weren't allowed to use it. Inexplicably, half of the tables were roped off even though it was a gorgeous day and the interior was cramped and we could hear conversations between the waiting staff in the kitchen. The food itself was okay but not sufficiently good enough to redeem the rudeness of the waiting staff and the lack of ambience inside.
