This place derives its name from the abundance of strawberries that were produced in the area and shipped out by train. Its recent expansion ensures that two private rooms are available for that special event while the bright décor brings in a clean and crisp edge to the time-honoured Strawberry Café.

Look out for po-boys at lunchtime served on a French loaf, there's the famous blackfish dressed with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and homemade remoulade and the train car, chopped prime rib, fried shrimp, sautéed peppers and onions with melted Provolone.

A seafood dinner comes with some delectable sauces, while the surf and turf stuffed with crabmeat and topped with baby lobster tails and grilled shrimps in a white wine cream sauce is another house speciality. The famed Randy's cheesecake sits atop a chocolate fudge crust and is artistically presented with a froth of whipped cream on top and strawberry sauce dripping down from the side.
