Every pub has a secret and at Fat Tony's Italian it's all about honoring the spirit of congeniality and the tradition of two trusted friends, Antonio Lanza, an Italian patriarch, and George Rose, an American sailor who met at a sailing competition in the summer of 1957. The wood paneling and exposed brick work is exactly what you might expect in a pub, however, it's really all about the food at Fat Tony's with influences from Italy and America.

The appetizers of pizza chip nachos is prepared the Italian way, topped with sauces, and mushroom caps are stuffed with chopped meatballs and drizzled with melted mozzarella. For the main course opt for their specialty dishes of grilled shrimp in a homemade creamy tomato sauce, spiced with pepper vodka and served over a bed of penne noodles.

The muffaletta sandwich, crafted by Italian settlers in New Orleans, is smothered with olive spread and layers of Genoa salami sit alongside mortadella, provolone and mozzarella.
