This fresh and unpretentious Alexandria restaurant is a well-loved local favorite, renowned for its northern Italian and French cuisine, with the seafood in particular being popular. Located on Duke Street, the Tempo Restaurant does much in the way of creating a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely ambiance quite effortlessly, making it a wonderful place to drop by for lunch or dinner and probably a delicious brunch on Sundays.

The regular menu features a calamari salad with lemon dressing or cured salmon with dill and follows it up with some of their specialities such as linguini with lobster and medallions of tenderloin with Roquefort cheese, mustard and cream. Daily specials include tempting dishes made with salmon, halibut, sole, mahi-mahi, grouper and red snapper. For dessert, enjoy the delectable tiramisu or chocolate cheesecake, all homemade while the wine list offers a good selection of French and Italian numbers, alongside Californian and local wines.
