Situated in the gorgeous Topanga Canyon in Santa Monica Mountains, Canyon Bistro is a lively French Californian restaurant that truly combines food, picturesque surroundings and art. The chic interior of the restaurant is decorated with fine arts by local artists and close set tables, comfortable seating and tactically placed lights add to its pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

The menu is principally focussed around dishes from France and Italy whilst an American influence is obvious. You could try pulled pork sandwich or a Bistro Canyon Benedict, a toasted English muffin, sautéed in spinach, imported ham, poached egg and parmesan mustard sauce, for brunch. The carte is more or less similar for lunch and dinner and wild mushroom ravioli, shrimp risotto or salad niçoise are excellent openers for delectable mains such as grilled Scottish salmon, pan seared red snapper and roasted chicken.

Canyon Bistro hosts several events on its patio, especially on summers' nights, and well known artists come down from Los Angels to entertain guests.
