The cooking can be simultaneously classic and creative, with deep-fried squid with tartar and marinara sauce teaming up with grilled asparagus wrapped with speck. Pasta courses cover an impressive range from the petite ear shaped orecchiette to hat shaped ravioli stuffed with butternut squash and pine nuts. Roasted organic Sonoma free range chicken makes an appearance in the form of novella in a rosemary white wine sauce.

D'Angelo also stays faithful to Italian wines by hosting monthly wine tastings paired with tasty appetizers.
