The ambience is chic, bordering on romantic but good for all occasions and gatherings - from family re-unions to anniversaries and ladies' nights out. Make sure there's ample time though, to savour the experience to the last bite.

While cheese fondue is the norm, The Melting Pot offers refreshing options for meat-lovers, vegetarians and even weight-watchers. The cauliflower Wisconsin is an interesting combination and highly recommended, while the delicate Swiss cheese fondue offers close competition. The entrée platters are tasty and innovative, particularly the signature selection - raw beef tenderloin, shrimp, teriyaki marinated sirloin, boneless chicken breast and salmon. Skipping dessert is not an option, so work your way around your appetite and order the flaming turtle - a mix of chocolate and caramel served with marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cake, brownies, cheesecake and glazed with nuts.
