Located within the Hilltop Inn guest house, pop in for the 'Great Britain' breakfast with bangers, egg, stewed tomatoes and toast or during lunchtime there's grilled herb roasted chicken breast with mashed potatoes and classic Scottish gravy. At dinner start off with a prawn cocktail served with a Sweet Marie-Rose dipping sauce followed by a traditional oven baked pork pie with mushy peas and a choice of side dishes or the Londoner's pie of creamy chicken and ham, shepherd's, steak and kidney or beef and onion.

To finish there's fresh fruit and cream nestling in a meringue nest and a chocolate guiness cake.

Heralded enthusiastically by many locals as one of Broomfield's best kept secrets, this cosy Mexican restaurant which is operated by the husband-wife duo of Mark, the affable chef who whips up your meals with plenty of time to spare and Cindy, who as hostess makes guests feel at home, serves burritos and tacos in a setting which retains that undefinable small town atmosphere. The interior features walls lined with images of the local high school students and the whiteboards are filled with articles about residents, indicating to a first time visitor how deeply rooted in the community is Burritos to Go.

For breakfast try burritos with potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese and beans or ole, potatoes, Spanish rice, scrambled eggs and cheese. For lunch order sweet and sour chicken, crunchy rice noodles and Spanish rice and beef tacos. Red chili pork tamales smothered in green chili, onions and cheese are a welcome accompaniment to your meal. Nor are roll ups and enchiladas overlooked.
