The Prospect Historic Hotel is situated in Mill Creek Drive, near Crater Lake and the Rogue River. Built in the late 1800s, the haven has been a popular stop for travellers enjoying the natural beauty and diversity of Oregon. President Theodore Roosevelt stayed there when he came to visit the magnificent Crater Lake. Prospect's ten restored bedrooms in the main house and fourteen modern motel units allow guests to relax in style.

The Dinner House is open from May to October, some holidays, and for prearranged groups. Expect to find dishes such as lemon dill roasted salmon; garlic lime shrimps, and a wonderful mushroom and olive chicken linguine amongst entrées. Their signature dish, prime rib is served every night, and is touted to be the best in South Oregon. Other options include stuffed pork loin with whiskey sauce; seared lamb chops drizzled with a syrah peppercorn sauce, or a delicious grilled rib eye dusted with ground peppers. A selection of Pacific North West wines and beer complement the food.
