The simple and straightforward menu at this Marysville restaurant is inspired by the distinctive and rich taste of barbequed meat and you could choose from beef brisket, pork ribs, pastrami and corned beef for main course. What sets them apart are their sauces, which range from mild to smoking hot, and that really sets the tone for a literally finger licking meal.

Baked beans, corn bread and potato salad are some of the sides on offer, and you can round off with the sweet potato pie as a fitting finale.

Boondockers Restaurant was a Lake Stevens landmark for many decades and the Bala family bought Boondockers in 1994, reopening it at its current location in Marysville in 2006.
