Take an abandoned signal box, add a saloon coach from the Great Northern Railway, spice well and you have what is probably one of the most unusual Indian restaurants in the country. The atmosphere is lively with a good mix of customers, including the local business fraternity. My pals and I have dined here multiple times over the last three years and have never been less than impressed with the atmosphere, prices and standard of cuisine. The Luari Mangsho is a favourite of ours, a spicy lamb and tomato dish, served in a sizzling oven pot. Very authentic and the staff are attentive and excellent. The Kingfisher beer isn't too bad either! Highly Recommended to the true Indian foody.

We regularly eat at Valley Junction. It is without doubt the finest Indian restaurant in Newcastle. The standards of cuisine and service are excellent.
