Yorkshires Catering Critic (24 April 2008)

Upon arrival we received attentive, yet certainly not overpowering, service from the restaurant manager who confirmed our reservation. He walked us to the bar whilst he took care of our jackets. The bar was well stocked with a fresh and imaginative display. The bartender was knowledgeable and had no issue with mixing my partners chosen cocktail. The wine list did not have too many choices but it was well thought out. We were shown to our table ten minutes later and were pleasantly surprised by the tasteful décor. I think this in one of my top ten restaurants of all time - fresh, flavoured, elegant and well constructed.
