The Abbeygate Restaurant at The Angel is found by some to be rather overpowering at first sight but it all seems to work together. There are no great culinary statements here but the straightforward menu offers genuine quality. House wines start at £10.95 and set price dinner will cost around £25.00. Events conspire to ensure that the restaurant is closed for Saturday lunch and Sunday dinner.
