Genuine Gujarati dishes are on offer at Veggie Perrins, which describes itself as the only exclusively Indian vegetarian restaurant in the South West. Not being in any position to refute that I can only endorse their plea that you join the many enthusiasts who flock to their doors. Bury your prejudices for an evening and really savour the wonderful aromas and flavours that they bring to an apparently veggie-starved Cornwall. On the few occasions when I have done this I have not been disappointed.Vegetarian

I've been eating at Veggie Perrin's for well over a decade now. I love it! I'm not vegetarian, and I'm not sure any of the many friends I've taken there are vegetarian, but everyone has enjoyed the home style Gujarati cooking and come away more than satisfied. Friends from London, South Wales and even California have been impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly staff. The décor is basic and the location less than glamorous, but this is the least tacky, and least pretentious, restaurant I know. It's a lot like eating at someone's house, and Bill Meswania always seems to be there to make sure everything's perfect.
