Viceroy, The Description

The Viceroy is a thoroughly individual, recently opened Indian restaurant in Sherwood, aiming to present the very best of Indian cuisine, with its traditional recipes brought from the heart of India, highlighting the fact that genuine Punjabi food tastes like no other.

They can seat up 200 people and have a private venue, which can be hired for either busines or personal use. Group and party bookings are welcome with buffet menus that can be designed to suit your requirements. A bonus is the fact that there is easily accessible parking and it is only a five minute ride from the city centre.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant that's well worth a visit. The food is fantastic, but that's not the best bit - it's the staff. The hosts are fantastic and make you feel exceptionally welcome.

I just visited the place with our four year old - it was very child friendly and the food was fabulous. It is nice to have a good quality restaurant so close to home, rather than going into town. The staff were brilliant with doing not too spicy food for our child and entertaining him! Many thanks.
