Victoria's India

The name Victoria's India derives from the architecture of the 1865 Victorian villa that houses this welcoming Longridge restaurant. All architectural features within the building have been retained and their unpretentious and cosy ambience encourages customers to feel at home.

Tandoor salmon fillet flavoured with carom seeds makes for an exciting starter, and lamb with green bell peppers and chillies for mains is equally stimulating. Mild and creamy to sour and fiery dishes include kadhai, dhansak, dopiaza, korma and vindaloo sauces. There is a list of options to please vegetarians too.

The Albert Room seats approximately thirty, while the smaller semi private Victoria Room accommodates twenty customers. A patio area to the rear of the restaurant provides seating for twelve. The service there is noted for its apparent lack of pace, where diners can linger over a meal for as long as they want in a relaxed environment.
