Villandry Kitchen

Much like its siblings on Great Portland Street and Bicester Village, Villandry Kitchen creates a distinctive impression with its relaxed European-style ambience, an all day café and bistrot menu, and a kitchen that takes enormous care in sourcing ingredients. Hence it's not surprising to see them drawing in diners from High Holborn and further afield.

The bistrot imbues the French spirit offering a selection of soups and salads with crusty bread, followed by a charcuterie plate of Bayonne ham, Jesus salami, duck rillettes, Paris ham, Ancienne baguette and baby fig chutney, or classics such as char-grilled butterflied chicken and gratin of macaroni and cheese with crispy bacon, green salad and a house dressing. The sight of French all butter croissant and Valrhona pain au chocolat is a reassuring sight at breakfast time, and so are homemade cream teas in the afternoon.
