Vine, The Description

A popular restaurant in Kentish Town where long lunches are de rigeur and the cooking produces a whole range of interesting dishes which could be loosely assembled beneath the Pacific Rim banner. The order of march could be a barbecued quail Asian style served on bean sprouts and pickled ginger, to be succeeded by wild boar sausages on puy lentil mash and haricot bean jus. Nice atmosphere with smooth service.

No trace of Pacific Rim dishes, bland starters, potatoes cooked in stale oil, some potatoes undercooked (nearly raw). Overall a disappointing experience.
