Vingt Quatre

I've heard many conflicting reports about this place, but then I think that is to be expected of somewhere that is open 24 hours a day, you simply can't keep everyone happy all day every day no matter how hard you try. Despite this reputation it's hugely popular with the local post cinema, post pub and post club crowd where other rival establishments have long since taken their last order for the night and are busy shutting up shop. Having said that the conventional dining hours get the best of the menu, whilst the late shift have to satisfy themselves with more conventional classics such as burgers and fishcakes. Puddings throughout the day are hearty and familiar such as banoffi pie and treacle tart and they do an excellent English breakfast, making any time a great time to visit Vingt-Quatre.
