Vrisaki Description

For excellent and down to earth priced Greek-Cypriot cuisine it is always worth a trek over to the Bound Green area in North London, or to be more specific to Vrisaki. Its many fans rate it as quite one of the best in London, and it even gets included in the Round Up section of the 2003 Good Food Guide. There you'll find a range of really fantastic meze, with flavours varying from well-sourced and perfectly grilled halloumi to delicious homemade dips such as a particularly garlicky tzatziki, all served in very generous quantities. Their charcoal grill delivers excellent kebabs, as well as the slightly more expensive steaks and lamb.

I love Greek food and Vrisaki is the best one I have ever been to. The staff make you feel like family and the place is always chock-a-block with regulars. There are always plenty Greek people in there which is always a good sign. I was very fortunate to have lived 2 minutes away from this wonderful place and couldn't get enough of it.

Living in Canada now I have to say I have definite cravings for this place. Going back home for a visit tomorrow and guess where is top on my list to go eat? You’ve guessed it, Vrisaki!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves wonderful Greek food.
