REVIEWS OF Waffle House - Norwich

Angela (5 November 2009)

The Waffle House opened over 30 years ago, the first time I went there was in 1978 when my girls were seven and two. It was charming, the food was delicious, healthy and the staff were lovely. Over the years I've been back lots of times and the standards have never dropped. Two things have changed, e.g., there used to be hanging lights with straw shades and they used to play jazz. I'm glad that they still have the rough hewn plates, mugs, dishes, etc., and I can confirm the food is still fabulous - I went there last Saturday with a friend from Surrey who was equally impressed.

The Waffle House has been a favourite since I worked in St. Giles over 20 years ago. Five children later it is our favourite birthday meal haunt, in fact we are hoping to go today!
