This venture by Thomasina Miers, former Master Chef winner, is exciting as it takes its style from a Mexican food market, which can be a challenging experience. A lady with a social conscience, Thomasina has seen to it that the interiors are largely constructed from recycled materials, and that ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible.

What she is most importantly doing is debunking the notion that Mexican cuisine is all about fiery food that rips your throat out, washed down with equally ferocious brews that make tequila seem like lemonade. Fresh, seasonal and vibrant food is served alongside refreshing cocktails, Mexican beers, affordable good wines and fresh aqua frescas. Enjoy sharing a range of street food dishes such as pork pibil tacos, potato taquitos, ceviche and chorizo quesadillas. The Wahaca selection is a good introduction to street food and is to be shared between two people. The menu also offers a variety of other options such as salads, grilled dishes, burritos and soups.
