We came to North London from Fulham and it was well worth the journey. Minimalist decor looks like the work of John Pawson, one of the greats of the genre. The food is equal to the decor, with wonderful, fresh sushi and sashimi, superb soft shell crab, an extensive menu, and friendly staff. Good Japanese food doesn't come cheap, but this is not expensive for the very high quality.

My Japanese girlfriend and I tried the lunchtime buffet menu at £6.60 for as much as you can eat although not including drinks and the food was great. Some dishes like sashimi you have to pay extra for but for the 6.60 you can choose between Miso, Rice, Salmon, Mackerel, Noodles, Meat dishes, maki rolls and some salads. Considering my Japanese girlfriend liked it, it must be ok!! Jap tea was 80p pp and a white wine was £1.80.
