My wife and I popped along for a glass of wine and a bite to eat on Friday evening to be greeted by attentive and friendly staff. Simple and rustic decor suited the atmosphere and the food. Priced about right for the area, the food was English brasserie ranging from tarts and quiches through to homemade pies and steaks. Children are welcome with half size portions of the main menu at half the price. My wife being a vegetarian had a reasonable choice. Overall we were very pleased with our food. A good choice of wines complemented the menu. We will be going back, next time with friends.
