Waterfront, The Description
One of the new generation of Young's pubs-with-food in South London. There are outside tables to provide overflow for the modern interiors and the provision of food is by no means an afterthought, with a good concentration on fresh ingredients.
Expect to find burgers of wild boar meat topped with foie gras, duck sausages served on mashed swede with delicate gravy, followed by apple crumble topped with a good sturdy scoop of ice cream.
Young's excellent products line up on the bars, and it is interesting to see a leading brewer taking more than ordinary care in the use of its pub estate.

I did not actually eat in this pub as I walked out before being served due to the appalling way we were spoken to by the waiter. Firstly we had to ask to be seated and were not given menus. Then we were very rudely told that we had sat on a "reserved table" by a waiter. We had just been shown to the table by a member of staff! I was disgusted by the patronising and pompous way he spoke to us and consequently walked out of the pub. It's a shame because the pub is beautifully decorated and has lovely views of the river. I'm sure the food is lovely but I certainly won't be back to try it!
