Located in a building that takes us back in time, Teuchters Landing was the waiting room for steamship passengers, who used to embark at Leith Docks for the ferry to Aberdeen. The whole place has now had a major facelift, and, having cleverly retained the really historic bits, they then added an elegant conservatory, which has become the restaurant 'a room in Leith', promising a warm welcome to locals and visitors to Edinburgh.Scottish, Seafood, Steak

For the last six years.I have dined out for lunch around Edinburgh,prodominantly Leith/shore.From Michelin starred fine dining restaurants on to less notable awarded establishments.The dishes are extremely well thought out.Flavours,texture,balance.So much so the chef dresses the plate realising.You stir the appetite initially.From appearance.
Price,service,food,wine.In there class I can't find better.

My son and his partner took my husband and I for dinner on Sat 24th Jan 2009. Our welcome was warm and inviting, we were not rushed to our table. We had a drink in the bar whilst reading the dinner menu. We were told 'take your time, you have all evening'. The food and service was exceptional, we had a lovely evening and will definitely return. In this day and age it was refreshing to be treated as a valued customer, well done.
