Waterside Restaurant at The Salterns Hotel Description
As with most almost every restaurant in Poole, Salterns also has spectacular views across the Harbour. However, these are unlikely to distract from the quality of the local ingredients and the wonderful combinations of flavours. There is a much more balanced menu than in some of the competition, where seafood tends to predominate. A well-travelled wine list draws globally and starts with house wine at £13.50.

We have eaten several meals there over the last year and have been delighted with each one. The dishes are not too large and they are beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The chef knows the knack of producing some exquisite tastes from a variety of quality ingredients. This place is recommended.

My wife and I ate at there on a Tuesday evening and had a wonderful meal in a full restaurant. All three courses were perfectly cooked, and the waitress was pleasant and most attentive. I had Tuna, which is very hard to get just right and it was. My wife had the succulent and tender chicken breast. The menu choice was extensive and the prices very reasonable. We have put this place on our short list of favourite and trustworthy restaurants.
