Westcliff Tapas

I went to the Westcliff Tapas restaurant, three weeks ago, because of a recommendation of a friend, and I was really surprised. At first for the decoration -it was warm and friendly –then for the music- once intimate, and others a soft flamenco. The food was great: I ate different tapas each time: Spanish omelette, great meatballs, prawns with garlic, chorizo with cider, sweet hot peppers on toast, wow! We also asked for paella with chicken and vegetables, it was gorgeous! I also tasted a Rioja’s wine. It was fantastic! The tables were illuminated with candles, the waitresses were Spaniards, and, everything helped to create a really cool atmosphere! Even if the Spanish food is the most important in the menu, they also have an English menu, and some pastas and pizzas too - pepperoni and margherita. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Next week I’ll go there, to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and they are going to decorate the tables with balloons. I’m sure that could be a nice surprise for her!
