White Hart Inn Description
This is an award winning Restaurant, Lancashire Life Restaurant of the Year 2005 and Chef of the Year 2006 to name but two. Standing on a hillside overlooking Oldham this 200-year old stone-built inn is an absolute haven.
There is something for everyone: a rustic-style brasserie caters for the sausage eaters of this world in particular, but there are plenty of other excitements for those with other tastes, while in the restaurant, housed in a new extension, a more sophisticated atmosphere prevails, both with the décor and the table.
Service is excellent and what a joy to see a truly well kept English cheeseboard. The wine list completes the picture, international in scope and reasonably friendly in price with 15 available by the glass from £2.85 and the bottle from £14.25.

A very pleasant experience with welcoming surroundings and good well mannered staff. The choice from the menu was refreshingly different.
From the starter to the main course and sweet all were prepared and delivered when we requested them. The duck main was particularly good and well worth the money paid.
Although the Irish coffee was cold, it did not prevent it being a very enjoyable evening. I would recommend this restaurant but be a little wary of the attached pub as the prices are a little on the expensive side.
