White Horse - Richmond

14-16 Worple Way, Richmond-upon-Thames, TW10 6DF

Tucked away in a residential area of Richmond, that is also home to many old fashioned cottages, is The White Horse, a contemporary pub with a Victorian façade. Once inside, it's easy to notice that although the pub is kept modish with hues of whites and russets and soothing ceiling lights, old touches creep in with heavy wooden tables and chairs and the well maintained, traditional  garden at the rear that's perfect to enjoy a beer or an al fresco meal. The kitchen deals in straightforward modern cooking and you can expect to find classic dishes prepared with care and precision. Start with a pan fried chorizo and shaved manchego tapas or crayfish tails and smoked salmon cocktail or simply order a meat platter and share an excellent selection of starters with friends.

REVIEWS OF White Horse - Richmond

K Rafferty (25 October 2009)

I've just come back from a glorious Sunday at the white horse. I've lived in Richmond for a few years now and this was my first visit to the White Horse, but I'll be back for sure. I had roasted pork and my wife had the turkey roast, and I've got to be honest that it was very good indeed. The service was fantastic but it did take about fifteen minutes for our food to come to us once ordered, this is somewhat understandable since they were very busy. I thought the place was fantastic and I would advise people who haven't been there before to give it a go. Its has great food, and very friendly people serving you what more could one want on a Sunday afternoon.
