White House, The Description

Situated in a three storey white house, the aptly named White House is a slick bar and restaurant, as well as housing an even more elitist members only bar. The ground floor bar is well known as one of the best cocktail bars in Clapham, it also has the added advantage of a late license and live DJ's that certainly draws in a vivacious crowd every weekend.

The top floor of The White House, boasts two private dining rooms, the Banquet Room and the Rockstar Room, both ideal for small functions. The menu here consists of three courses and costs £25 per head without wine.

Meanwhile the downstairs dining room consists of starters such as moules mariniere with crusty bread (£5), or smoked chicken and avocado salad with a mango & basil dressing (£6). Main courses vary from the likes of grilled sea bass with a crab & saffron risotto, to roasted duck breast with a potato and celeriac rosti with port & orange jus. Expect to pay around £11 per main course option.
