Whits Description
Whits is a small neighbourhood restaurant with a comfortable bar, which prides itself on friendly service, their simple motto is to serve 'real food for real people at realistic prices'.
Steve Whitney is the Chef and Owner, whose experience covers working at the Dorchester, Savoy and Mosimann's amongst others.
They also offer a bar snack menu from 5.50 - 8 pm for people dashing to the cinema, just round the corner!

The Whits is our favourite local restaurant by a mile. The menu changes regularly but always includes great steaks, as well as innovative seafood dishes (e.g. langoustine risotto with tempura scallops). Eva is the manageress and general personality - always warm and bubbly even when the restaurant is busy. This is a great place for excellent food, reasonable wine and friendly service. About £40 a head for three courses and wine - oh and the home made ice-cream was delicious!

We had a great dinner, wonderfully cooked food with real flavour. This restaurant is a must for people who like real food. This place will go far.
