I could not disagree more with one of the reviewers. Having recently visited the infamous Wild Mushroom in September, for lunch with a friend, we could not have been more satisfied. A royal welcome from the maître’d, who was polite, and gracious throughout our visit. The food was fresh and flavoursome; beautifully presented, and served discreetly, and with great professionalism. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and very good value at just £18.95 for a sumptuous three course lunch. With our current financial climate we could afford to eat out, and not feel guilty about the price while enjoying fine dining at its best. I cannot wait for my next visit, which will be very soon. Keep it up Wild Mushroom.

This used to be a first class eatery with good food and excellent service. However, something has clearly gone wrong with it recently. A Sunday lunchtime visit in June was a nightmare with a rude and inhospitable maitre d', indifferent service and food at best disappointing. Complaints were met with arrogance and lack of any concern for improvement.
