Wine REPublic Description

Within the Birmingham Rep is the Wine REPublic, offering morning coffee, lunches and dinner. Ideal for theatregoers, though open to all. There are two and three course specials and show time specials.

Snacks include bruscettas, pasta, salads and wraps. The "lite bite" menu offers warm chicken and chorizo salad; avocado, roasted pepper, cherry tomato and baby spinach salad; butternut squash, goats' cheese and baby spinach penne pasta topped with parmesan shavings; steak and fried onion wrap, ploughman's cheese board.

The "dining in style" menu offers a three-course meal, with four choices at each stage. The first course might include tuna fishcakes or chicken and baby leek roulade. The second course might include grilled salmon, liver with black pudding mash, beef strips in peppercorn sauce, or wild mushroom, goats' cheese and leek risotto. The third course might offer Eton Mess, white chocolate bread and butter pudding, or pear and cinnamon tart. A glass of champagne and tea or coffee are thrown in for good measure.
