Wine Theatre, The Description

Join the team at The Wine Theatre, on their journey to discover the trends associated with food and wine pairings, a complete celebration of an epicurean lifestyle. Situated in the food and art mecca of Union Street on The South Bank in London, the atmosphere is engulfed by the cosiness of the warm wooden furniture and the theatrical setting.

The famed apertivo concept, popular in Italy, now makes inroads in the London dining scene; so head out in the evening, choose a drink and help yourself at the 'apertivo table'. A starter of San Daniele ham carvery platter, a sweet tasting delicate ham aged for 24 months may elicit wow!! responses, and so will Parma ham wrapped monk fish on pea puree that follows. For that sugar rush choose between a Venetian tiramisu with coffee mousse and amaretto flavoured crème brûlée.

As one would expect at The Wine Theatre, the wine list offers a large choice of over 90 wines, the majority of which are served by the glass.
