The place needs a jolly good shake. It has a wonderful atmospheric interior and good outside in summer. However menu is straight from the 1970’s served in portions that are far too large. Quality well below that expected of £ 45 per head. It’s my second visit and I now remember why I was disappointed on my last visit five years ago. It should really be avoided.

My two friends and I had a fantastic Friday night dinner.One had the steak slightly over cooked, so once mentioned, a new one was cooked to perfection instantly. It is expensive, but you pay for what you get. It is nicer to sit outside in summer but could also be very nice and welcoming in the winter.
