We recently chose Woods for my mum's 80th birthday after friends' recommendations! We were a party of around twenty-five, including eight babies and children, and we had a fantastic time. We were given the upstairs private room for no charge with an adjoining balcony where we enjoyed a pre-lunch drink, overlooking the bay! We were given the regular Sunday lunch menu, which had plenty of choice, and the kids chose from an extensive kids menu, which turned into colouring sheets, or could choose smaller portions of the Sunday roast. The food was fantastic, we had our own waiter who was very attentive and the children were made a fuss of too, granted it helped we had our own space. I would definitely recommend Woods for a special occasion!

We had a superb meal at Woods. We took sometime to choose a venue for a belated Valentine's meal and were not disappointed. The food was great, service excellent, professional and friendly and wine suitably priced. We couldn't find fault in this restaurant and it has a wonderful location in Cardiff Bay! We would definitely go back just to try the yellow fin tuna or the crab and salmon pasta parcels with lobster bisque - well worth a visit.
