Woodstock Tavern Description
In amongst the Didsbury Dozen this swinging Bass-owned pub offers decent food which is much enlivened by the inclusion of unusual and specialist meats on the menu. Hitherto the association between kangaroo and port had not been blindingly obvious but the Woodstock has done it for me. They do a very creditable 2-course Sunday lunch for the princely sum of £10. The price of drinks can be slightly discouraging and there is a good choice of average wines.
