This restaurant serves great food and is newly redecorated as I went there a while ago and it’s all been given a really stylish makeover. They do great Italian nights where a Pavarotti was guest singer - unbelievably good, will book again! Family run and menu is really quirky. It has nicely tucked away setting.

Friendly staff and a quirky owner! The food is very good, catering for all tastes, and there is a large selection of wines. You can really relax, either at the bar or having a meal in the restaurant area. It is definitely different to any pub or restaurant, and I liked the charming location. If you want something a bit different I would recommend it. I am not from Essex so I enjoyed the trip out, and will definitely go back soon.
