World Food Cafe
First Floor, 14 Neal's Yard, London, WC2H 9DP
Chris and Carolyn Caldicott opened the World Food Café in 1991 with Nicholas Saunders, the original founder of Neal's Yard, in the building that was home to Monty Python and George Harrison's studios. Chris was the ice cream man of Neal's Yard where he teamed up with the wholesale manager Carolyn. The café serves exciting food from around the world in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The inspiration behind the menu comes from their extensive travels around the world as travel writers and photographers. The enticing options are served all day whether you are after a slap up lunch, a light snack or a cup of tea and cake in the afternoon you will not be disappointed. Egyptian falafels, Turkish meze of aubergine and vegetables, lots of delicious homemade cakes, puddings and ice creams feature on the extensive weekly changing menu.Chris and Carolyn Caldicott opened the World Food Café in 1991 with Nicholas Saunders, the original founder of Neal's Yard, in the building that was home to Monty Python and George Harrison's studios.
