I have always had a fabulous meal at Y Polyn - when friends come to visit, I take them to have a true taste of really fresh food cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. I also recommend Y Polyn to my bed and breakfast guests and they never come away disappointed! The service is excellent and the home made bread is scrummy - the main courses are second to none and their ice creams - the best I have ever tasted!

Found the Y Polyn quite by chance prior to a visit to the Botanic Gardens. What a find! Wonderful warm bread, friendly service and delicious fresh food, full of flavour, better than anything we found in Cardiff the following two nights!
