Yalla Yalla - Beirut Street Food Description

Saucy and authentic are two words that pop up while dining at Yalla Yalla - the Lebanese restaurant in the heart of vibrant Soho. The loud and intriguing ambience makes you wonder if King Solomon had it any different from this. But what's amazing is that, even with the rich décor, Yalla Yalla manages to come through as a friendly, unpretentious dining place where people join together to make some noise and enjoy authentic Lebanese food.

Let the heady apple, mint and ginger lemonade work up an appetite, while you scan the list of lip-smacking Lebanese delicacies. Begin with the hommos shawarma or falafel, followed by the mixed grill and conclude with the Yalla coco as well as smoke a shisha outside to capture the Lebanese spirit in all its glory.

Your Reviews of Yalla Yalla - Beirut Street Food

After reading all the amazing reviews of this new restaurant in Soho, we went there for a Monday lunch, the place was full, and we got a table after a fifteen minutes wait, which was great for West End area. The food was very tasty and fresh, and being in Beirut four years ago, I can say it was so authentic. It has amazing cocktails, especially the pomegranate margarita. I will be going back again this Sunday with my boyfriend. It is the best place I have discovered after more than a year in central London.

What a find! Superb food, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Children were welcomed and it was spotlessly clean. We had 6 starters and 4 main courses. The lamb was so tender it melted! The kids loved the seafood so we ordered more of that half way through. Apple, mint and ginger lemonade is amazing stuff. Non-alcoholic but not stuffy, health food either - and the kids loved the pomegranate. Everything is made fresh on the premises and it didn't matter that we didn't understand what was what or couldn't pronounce the words - the staff were happy to help and the chef appeared too while we were eating to check all was to his standards. Five full tummies, we had loads of drinks, mostly because I couldn't stop drinking the mint and ginger! All for about £10 a head, this is the best place to eat so far - worth going to find - and we'll be back!
