This is definitely the place to go if you are looking for an excellent meal. There is something to suit all tastes from swordfish to a very large mixed grill. We have ordered from the 'early doors' menu and from the main menu and have never been disappointed. Both menus offer fantastic value for money and we wouldn't consider going anywhere else especially for a perfect steak.

Without any doubt, the Ye Olde Dun Cow in Cowbit has to be one of the best restaurants in the area. We hadn’t been before but decided to have our works Christmas 'do' here. The food was excellent. I had homemade chicken and wild mushroom soup to start followed by fillet of sea bass served on Mediterranean creamed potatoes. My husband had a mixed seafood starter including tiger-tails, salmon and crayfish followed by medallions of fillet of beef served on two rostis with a shallot and mushroom red wine jus. We could not fault it at all and having seen their main restaurant menu, will most certainly be going back.
