We've been staying in Portmadoc every year for over ten years, and always have at least one meal there. When we first went they were just starting up. Other restaurants in the town have come and gone, but this remains the best, there was always excellent food, a friendly welcome and a lively atmosphere. You only need to see how many locals use it.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It has the most amazing cosy, informal atmosphere. The owners, Helen and Mick are really welcoming and always make you feel like old friends if you re-visit! The food, especially the desserts are to die for! Great wine list. Slightly pricy but worth every penny. You need to book a long way in advance to get a table it's so popular!
