Zara Indian Cuisine

72 Church Road, Fordham, nr Colchester, CO6 3NJ

With an exotic name like Zara, this restaurant doesn't disappoint when it comes to the food, offering a no holds barred view into culinary achievements from the sub continent. So you have typical Indian dishes alongside Nepalese, Persian and even English fare. Despite being relatively new in Colchester, this restaurant has gained a fair share of patrons and everything about it is appealing, right from its décor which has been professionally designed to its eclectic selection of food elevating it from the status of a curry house into a favoured dining destination. The range of appetisers includes reshmi kabab, silky morsels of chicken cooked in a tandoor and king prawn butterfly while specials could well be Zara chicken, marinated in garlic butter, cream cheese and powdered almonds.

This is a brilliant place to eat. The food was great, the atmosphere and pleasantness of the members of staff was very good and to a high standard. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
