Zazu's Kitchen

The delightful Zazu's Kitchen is often referred to as a home away from home. Clean colours and a bright open kitchen set off the country farmhouse theme. Locally sourced vegetables and home-cooked food is strewn seductively across the counter.

In the evening the intimate space is dappled in candlelight and offers fresh organic food. Zazu's is a place of peacefulness in a thriving community with a hugely varied clientele popping in and out much like a busy home!

The daytime menu focuses on soups, salads, quiches, frittatas and delicious mezze platters. Starters on a daily changing evening menu could include pan-fried Scottish scallops with Rosario chorizo, or ceviche of Cornish sea bass, while mains take in roast Gressingham duck breast in Marsala sauce on pomme puree, or papa deli pasta with wild mushroom, smoked garlic, oak smoked cheddar, parmesan and cream.

Among desserts rose scented crème brûlée with almond praline vies for attention  alongside local artisan cheeses. Beer, cider, wine, and ales make the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

There is live music on Wednesday evenings.
