Zebrano - Ganton Street

After a hard day in the office I and a few of my work colleagues decided to hit the West End for a night out. It was a Thursday night so we decided that we would hit some bars and maybe end up in a club depending on how the night went and struggle through the following Friday at work, trying to keep the hangover hidden from our boss. The night started out pretty dull as we went to a few traditional pubs, which I now classify as ‘boring old man pubs’ which have a distinct lack of any fun, and most importantly women! After having a few pints we decided to hit some bars around Carnaby Street to liven up the night and get into a more upbeat mood, and hopefully have a chance to meet some people. The first bar we arrived at was empty and the venue wasn’t particularly great, so we stayed for a cheeky drink and then decided to venture onwards in hope of greener pastures. This took us to Zebrano on Ganton Street, this place ticked all our requirements, it had good music, people and the venue was great. We started in a more quiet part of the bar, this gave us a chance to get a few drinks in and relax. A few drinks later we were standing by one of the downstairs tables joined by a group of ladies chatting and enjoying the music being played. It was my turn to get the drinks in, so I decided to get cocktails for the group. I ordered a round of mojitos, and let me tell you this, if you want a great mojito in one of the finest cocktail bars in London go to Zebrano Bar, it was brilliant, everyone in the group really enjoyed it, and it was at an extremely reasonable price. As for the rest of the night, we never left Zebrano bar and stayed there until closing time at 1am, which was followed by stumbling home in preparation for the next days slog at work.
