Zen Noodle Bar - Chelmsford

I have visited Zen on several occasions with my friends at lunchtime. It is the perfect lunchtime venue for any number of people. They are always accommodating, friendly and efficient, and the food is gorgeous. Highly recommended.

I went to the Zen Noodle Bar on a Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was excellent although there was a very small delay on the main dishes but this was explained before we ordered and the wait gave us time to properly enjoy the side dishes. The barbeque ribs are amazingly good as were the duck rolls. The dishes are served as they are cooked so everything is piping hot and equally delicious. The main dishes were very good and well worth the wait. We both ordered noodle dishes and really enjoyed them. The dessert menu looked very enticing, it was just a shame we had no room left for them. Tip: Don't bother with the prawn crackers - they're much better than your average prawn crackers but still not worth filling up on them and missing out on any of the other treats the menu has to offer! We'll definitely be going back.
