Zigs

Zigs is a restaurant that strives to achieve originality, simplicity and authenticity. It brings alive the quintessential Parisian bistro, creating a place for people to meet, eat or just sit down and think. They have introduced a new style of cooking or grilling fish, meat or vegetables at your table on a hot volcanic stone. The la cuisine de tartines, dishes that consist of a generous slice of toasted sourdough poilâne bread topped with hot or cold seasonal ingredients is another speciality.

Start with homemade duck rillettes, duck confit, smoked and cooked in goose fat with shallots served with poilâne bread and marinated olives. Then go for a choice of pork tenderloin or savoyarde, melting reblochon cheese and smoked ham on a bed of potatoes. A rum flambéed banana for dessert could provide the perfect finishing touch.

The wine list complements the menu and ranges from the famous Grands Crus to other excellent and relatively inexpensive choices.
